If you sign up to volunteer at a Folsom event and select Major Beneficiary Project Inform as your beneficiary, please refer any questions to Volunteer Coordinator Philip at email@example.com.
Folsom Street Events is proud to support Project Inform's emergency financial assistance programs, which focuses on its Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) education program. Their goal is to increase PrEP usage as an additional component in HIV prevention. This educational program targets gay and bisexual men at high risk, other groups at risk, and their care providers with education on the basics of taking and paying for PrEP.
Within the Bay Area, Project Inform assures that 38,000+ Californians get free HIV medications who could not otherwise afford them; leads efforts to make sure that national health care reform is implemented in ways that meet the needs of people with HIV and hepatitis C; and educates thousands of people with HIV and hepatitis C about how to stay healthy.
