Training options

Some form of training is mandatory for each department and role because we are committed to the success, safety, and enjoyment of our volunteers. If you are volunteering at a street fair or party, you can expect to receive training materials at least two weeks prior to volunteering.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to volunteer your time and benefit your selected organization this year. Because of that, we have two training options depending on the type of volunteer shift you are performing.

Online Training

This option will include a general training video that you can view at any time, and should not take more than 20 minutes of your time. We'll also ask you to answer some questions about the video content to ensure you're ready for the Fair!

At the end of the video, you will receive a link to shift-specific written materials that will give you all the information you need to have a great and successful volunteer experience!

In-Person Training

This option is required for volunteers in departments that play a critical role in the health and safety of our volunteers and fair-goers.

Available training options will be listed for each role during the registration process, and are also listed below.
