San Francisco LGBT Community Center (CNTR)

The San Francisco LGBT Community Center (CNTR) is a nexus for the LGBT community and allies to gather, organize and celebrate. They host over 200 programs and welcome more than 9,000 individuals each month, in addition to providing affordable office space. Their own service programs provide leadership that brings the community together to work on issues of civil rights, public policy and community activism, tackling problems of discrimination, homophobia and disenfranchisement. The Center is sought out as a collaborative leader and partner, leveraging the work of community-based organizations through active engagement with over 70 local organizations.

If you sign up to volunteer at a Folsom event and select the Supporting Beneficiary SF LGBT Center as your beneficiary, please refer any questions to Volunteer Coordinator Rosemary at

With proceeds from our 2017 Fair Season, Folsom Street Events proudly supports the Center’s Information and Referral (I&R) Program. The I&R Program is primarily volunteer-driven and serves approximately 6,500 people each year; about 60% of inquiries concern wellness and health (including HIV, mental health, substance abuse, transgender health, and other issues). Key components of this program include staff and volunteers, information on their website, and a peer mentoring program.
