Due to the sensitive nature of the tasks that are assigned to Executive Assistant volunteers, all volunteers are required to attend an in-person training regardless of past volunteer experience.

It takes a great deal of logistical maneuvering to prepare the fairgrounds before the fair - help make a difference by providing support to the Folsom Street Events President or Managing Director to get the fair right!
The Executive Assistant will "shadow" the Folsom Street Events President or Managing Director throughout the day and will be asked to help with a variety of tasks. Some tasks may involve heavy lifting or coordinating small groups of volunteers, such as breaking down the tables and chairs in the Food Court area.
It is critical that you are flexible in your role as a Executive Assistant -- you never know where you'll end up or what you'll do, and that's why this shift is so important!
